"A couple years ago I was feeling sluggish, tired and confused about what was happening to me. I had just turned 36 and thought I was healthy. I wasn't overweight, I walked my dogs miles everyday, worked a physically demanding job, thought I was eating healthfully and yet I just felt "mushy". I had never felt like that before and I didn't like it one bit. It was time for action.
I started working with Tarken one on one, twice each week. He helped me to identify my weak points, both in my body and in my diet, and made lifestyle suggestions. So we worked together, he gave me a lot of information, planned workouts that challenged me, and assigned homework when I asked for it.
I was sore for months, and it was awesome. It was facinating to get back in touch with my body, I was surprised what I could do and how fast the changes happened. I felt stronger right away. I could feel myself standing taller and my energy level increased dramatically. I even felt like I wanted to RUN. I have never wanted to run, I have run a lot, but I never wanted to. Interesting. After four months I felt I was ready to move from personal training to Bootcamps, which I am completely addicted to and LOVE! I love the group energy, the variety of exercises, the music...it helps me process my day, sleep well, breathe deeply...I try to never, ever miss a class.
So this is what I know, working hard and working out are not the same thing. Working out is for me, me, me. And when I am well, I can better take care of the people around me. It's really a no-brainer. Oh, and all this for a weekly commitment of 2 hours! 2 Hours! Unbelievable".

"I have been training with Tarken for one year now, before then I never thought I was in bad shape but had a lot of aches and pains that nagged me from time to time. I had shoulder problems, back problems, migraine headaches, all the kind of stuff most of us just choose to manage with medication,surgeries or just plain live with. I can now say that exercise is the answer.
I am the Chef of a restaurant and catering company and my job requires me to be on my feet at all times, lifting heavy objects, carrying heavy loads and working in high stress situations. Every year became more difficult both physically and mentally. I struggled with fatigue, various pains and minor injuries.
My first few weeks training with Tarken were enlightening and I realized how quickly results can be seen and felt. I started feeling better almost immediately. I have tried going to fitness centers in the past, I have tried to be disciplined enough on my own to exercise at home, it just never stuck, I would get into it for a couple weeks and then lose interest. Tarken has shown me the best and fastest ways to get results and has kept it fun and exciting for me.
To sum it up, after only one year, only two hours a week, I feel better now than I ever have. This summer I will turn 40 years old, I don't have any more pain, I don't get any more migraines, I can lift more than I ever could, I can work longer and harder than I could when I was 20 years old.
